Restocking Fee Policy

At Smart Nora, we strive to provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible. However, there are instances where products need to be returned and restocked. To cover the costs associated with processing returns, inspecting products, and restocking inventory, we have implemented a restocking fee policy. This policy outlines the conditions under which a restocking fee will be applied and the process for returning items.
1. Restocking Fee Percentage
A restocking fee of 15% of the original purchase price will be applied to all eligible returns. This fee helps us recover the expenses incurred in preparing returned items for resale and covering administrative costs.
2. Eligibility for Restocking Fee
The restocking fee will be applicable in the following scenarios:
- Change of Mind: If you decide to return a product due to a change of mind or a purchasing error, the 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
- Non-Defective Products: If the returned product is in a resalable condition and there are no defects or damages caused by shipping or handling, the restocking fee will apply.
3. Exemptions from Restocking Fee
The restocking fee will not be charged in the following circumstances:

- Errors on Our Part: If the return is a result of our error, such as shipping the wrong item, the restocking fee will be waived.
4. Return Process
To initiate a return and request a refund, follow these steps:

- Provide your order number, a brief reason for the return, and any supporting information or images if applicable.
- Our customer service team will guide you through the return process and provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number.

5. Refund Calculation
Upon receiving and inspecting the returned product, we will calculate the refund amount as follows:
Refund Amount = Original Purchase Price - (15% Restocking Fee + Return Shipping Costs*)
*Return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund amount if the return is not due to a defect or an error on our part.
6. Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned item and inspecting it for eligibility. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
