Selecting a manufacturing partner is a long process and involves multiple stages. Our search for the manufacturing partner started months ago, after the great success of our Kickstarter campaign, and was concluded with a visit to Asia. In a jam-packed trip we visited Osaka, Japan, and Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Xiamen and Zhuhai city in China. The visit was filled with back to back meetings with Nora’s top candidates, conversations with their engineering and management teams, and spending full days touring the facilities.
Team Nora is excited to be working with a reputable manufacturer in Shenzhen. Our partnership ensures high quality of workmanship and production capacity. Your Nora will be manufactured in the same facilities and by the same teams that manufacture products for brands like Bosch, Belkin, Adidas, and Panasonic. We are in good company.
With this successful visit, Nora HQ is going full-speed ahead with the next steps of setting up manufacturing which puts us in a great spot. Being tinkerers at heart we have been continuously improving our DMF package for streamlined manufacturing, quieter performance, and easy assembly. We are excited for when you get your Nora and see for yourself how quiet it is. It helps to have the inventor in your team, who continuously improves the design!
